1st step is Term Limits so we can get rid of the senior/most powerful members who have been in the lobbyists' pockets the longest. Once they're gone, there are a LOT more changes that need to be made.
They're supposed to represent/serve their constituents, BUT the people paying for them to keep their jobs are NOT their constituents? WHO DO YOU THINK THEY REALLY SERVE?

You need to spell it out. State exactly what the term limits would consist of. Example: “No elected member of congress can serve more than a total of any combination of 14 years in the US Congress. The options available are ; Option A) Two terms as US Senator (6 years per term as senator), plus one term as a US House Representative ( 2 year term) for a total of 14 years served, or Option B) One term as US senator (6 years) and four terms as a US House Representative (4 x 2 years = 8 years) for a total of 14 years served, and finally, the last combination would be, Option C) Seven terms (2 years each) as a US House Representative for a total of 14 years served.. Years served do not include years served as a result of temporary appointments. No person will be allowed to serve more than a total of 14 years as a member of the US Congress. 14 years and your out. No lifetime salary or lifetime benefits. After 14 years you can return to the regular workforce, if you so choose. You cannot hold any lobbying positions at any time between 10 years prior to or after holding a position of a publicly elected official. Scotus should be term limits also - 20 years. All elected positions should have Term Limits. The years served do not have to be consecutive in order to be counted."
